Therefore this component is given important focus and is at three levels.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>PARTNERSHIPS WITH COMMUNITIES AND COMMUNITY GROUPS ARE BASIC AND VERY VITAL FOR TBAI. THESE INCLUDE :<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>TB Patients, their caregivers, other community volunteers such as key opinion leaders, patient advocates, community structures such as Self\u2013Help Groups (SHGs), Unions and community volunteers.<\/li><li>Healthcare providers from the private sector, chemists and rural healthcare providers.<\/li><\/ul><p>A significant and long standing partnership is with National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) at the national, state and district levels.
